The Nepal Law Commission Act, 2063, established the Nepal Law Commission as an independent body for drafting, codifying and revising, integrating and revising existing laws, and even to conduct research and research on law and justice matters.
The Act provides for the formation of the Commission, the Chairperson, the Vice-Chairperson and the members, the Act, with respect to the qualifications, terms, conditions of service and the functions, duties and powers of the Commission.
